It's a Pokemon Champions throwdown at our tournament this month! Show off your double battle team & fight for glory!
Entry is $10, and we'll run Swiss rounds based on attendance. Prepare a Double Battle team in Pokemon Champions and challenge your opponent to a Best-of-Three match! Each player who goes X-1 or better will receive store credit!
During rounds, you may not have any play aids or use any third-party software to gain an advantage over your opponent. You may use paper to take notes and keep track of the game state. We will use the in-game timer to keep track of the time in each round.
Pokemon VGC operates on an Open Team Sheet format. Each player will need to bring a completed team sheet for their opponent to view during matches. We will have sheets available on the day of, but you can also print them and fill them out ahead of time by clicking here.
Each player must have a Play Pokemon POP ID in order to participate. You can find your POP ID by registering for an account at https://trainer.pokemon.com/start. Click on "Create a Play Pokemon Account" once you've signed up in order to receive a POP ID.
