Celebrate Pokemon Day with an extra-special Cube Draft!
If you've never cube drafted before, here's the rundown. Each player will start with a Victini and a Professor's Research that they can choose to include in their deck. As the draft starts, everyone will receive four "packs" of 12 cards each. Players will choose one card at a time, passing their pack to the player next to them after each pick, until the pack is gone. Drafting order is left-right-left-right. At the end of the process, each player will have a total of 50 cards they will use to build a 40-card 4-prize deck with basic energy provided by us. Three Swiss rounds will follow, consisting of 50 minute best-of-3 matches.
For Pokemon Day, we'll have some extra goodies in the prize pool this time around. Each participant will receive two Series 4 Prize Packs, with an additional two prize packs in the pool per player. On top of that, the first place winner will recieve a Phantasmal Flames Elite Trainer Box. There's never been a better time to test out your deck-building skills!
Entry is $10. There is a cap of 12 players for this event.
